    Two local artisans have worked together to create this incredible heirloom

    What happens when an award-winning basket weaver (Beverly Cornelius) meets an incredible woodworker (Carl Stoner)? This amazing Pie Caddy! The basket is Shaker Cathead woven, by hand, and stained with tea and mineral oil. The base is urned Gumwood finished with Walnut Oil. And the straps are made of bridle leather, with a wooden handle reminiscent of vintage general store advertising.

    But don't limit yourself to carrying pies. The basket, when inverted, is a beautiful artisanal fruit or bread basket. And the beautiful wooden base can be used as a cheese serving board. This is destined to be an heirloom, passed down through generations.
